On Friday we got back from Girls Camp! {PS this is the Rachel version of it} I had the time of my life! It was amazing! So this year it was Stake Camp so all the wards from my Stake where there! Ya... there was a lot of people but I saw some of my Dance friends! {Yay for my other friends in my other life!}
On Thursday there was a "Sunrise Hike" for those crazy girls that wanted to go on a hike at 4:30 AM, so they could see the sunrise atop the mountain. I am proud to say that I was one of those crazy girls that woke up at 4:30. I figured that it was kinda a once in a lifetime sorta thing... so I woke up ant 4:30 and went hiking. It was fun and here are some pics.
And this is one of my favorites!
It was so awesome to have the big girls and/or the YCL's there to help, answer questions, do hair and just to hang out with. {I had one of the YCL's do my hair every day where where there!} At first I was a little worried but after a while I learned that girls camp is the bomb!
There was 2 cabins {more like 1 split in half by a wall} I made up some names. One half all the {most} Mia Maids and Laurals settled in and most of the Beehives made a home out of the other half. Here are some amazing pictures of the "bed" I slept on for 4 days. {and the cabins}
I slept on the top bunk. One of my other friends slept on the bottom and Jessica and my other friend slept just like 3 steps away from me!:)
Here is my "bed" after I cleared all the comfy off of it.
Now... little did we know we had some friendly neighbors up at camp... or should I say roommates. THERE WAS BATS IN OUR CABIN!! Some one said UUGGG there are bats living in our "house". Then I corrected them and said It is more like WE are living in their house!! Any ways, here is a picture of their house. And the rafters that they probably hung in while I was fast asleep.
There was TONS of highlights from camp... but I'm afraid it would take me 20 years to type all of them. But here is one more.
There was signs everywhere just to make sure you knew where you where going, there was a restroom one {as seen below} and one that just plain out said "Wilderness Ares" as if you didn't know. I think the Eagle Scouts just needed like 1 more hour to call it an Eagle Scout Project so they make a Wilderness Area sign. Oohhh, it for sure made us laugh.
{Don't you love how I made Jessica be my Vanna for the bathroom sign?}
I am so glad to be home... but camp was awesome. {Besides the bats and bugs. PS I didn't have a shower for 4 days! Ya... my Dad couldn't believe it either!}
Love, {The happy camper}
